Printed circuit boards and other components for our
virtual RFID hour meters and other products are hardened for
longest service life in the harshest environments.

25 mils of an advanced silicone conformal coating ensures there are no exposed
leads on the secondary side of the boards, while guarding against dendritic growth
and the electromigration of metal between conductors, which can cause short
circuits and compromise solder joints. This advanced coating also protects the
insulation resistance of the circuit board. OEM DD products are spike and surge-
protected, one reason why they are widely specified for use in construction and
other worksite management.

OEM DD is distinctive in the industry in making certain every facet of design and
manufacturing is geared to delivering the most robust products possible.
Boards are rated for -40° to 80°C. Enclosures are powder-coated zinc die
casting with polycarbonate labeling, a specification which protects products
from dust, dirt - even pressure washing. Military components can be
CARC-coated.

All OEM DD boards are rigorously humidity-tested using statistical sampling
techniques to ensure long-term board performance, regardless of exposure
to extreme temperature, moisture or abrasive contaminants.
